It’s been awhile since Blizzard came out with a Battle Plan for WoW, four years to be exact. Now seems to be the best time to release such an announcement, especially with Cata just around the corner.
For 2010’s Battle Plan, key enhancements in the Lich King expansion and the Ruby Sanctum were given a run through.
Also included in the Battle Plan are these Cata-centered highlights:
Changes in Kalimdor and much of the Eastern Kingdoms is almost completed.
New high-level content zones such as Mount Hyjal and Vashj’ir are in progress.
New quest lines and events namely Zalazane’s Fall and Operation Gnomeregan are currently in development.
Database hardware upgrades will be performed prior to Cata’s release to fully support the new features coming in.
Whoo boy, Blizz surely knows how to suck in their WoW fans!
