Re: Super NES

I LOVE CHRONO TRIGGER MORE THAN LIFE. Even that mario RPG game was really really fun!

Re: Super NES

Personally I liked the RPG's on the PS1 better, and I have a SNES sitting in my room behind me, its pretty dirty I need to give it a good cleaning...

Chrono Trigger was re-released for the PS1 and had a "Spiritual Sequel" in Chrono Cross, I say "Spiritual" because the events of Chrono Cross are barely related to those of the original game.

Oh, and that SNES behind me? Has the Final Fantasy 3(really 6 go figure) cartridge in it right now smile

Re: Super NES

how can you compete with

THE END OF THE WORLD

in ffIII.  most baddies want to do it, yours does it, and you wake up on an island with a person you barely know with a character most of us barely played.  man...its taking me back.

and i know these arn't rpg's, but the first 3 Mega Man X's on the snes were badass.  i dunno, i know they rerelease things from time to time but you gotta give props to its origional.

Re: Super NES

Terranigma for you people who emulator or have a PAL system.  Had a lot of action and a really good story.

Not many people seem to appreciate it as much as I did, but I did enjoy Secret of Evermore.  It was the first game I played that introduced alchemy (to some degree).

I also loved, loved, loved Breath of Fire I and II.  I played a few RPGs prior to BoF, but that game is what made me realize I loved the genre.

this was my fave also then maybe 7 anything after that was iffy
i kidda hate 8 cause they cut funding from xenogears for it.
xenogears was a classic it had a better story than books i've read.

ff8 "take her" 5min later "we gotta go get her back" wtf really WTF

that list is good enough for me, totally agree bro. It's because less time was dedicated to graphics which means more time and dedication to story big_smile
